The Leading Young Alumni Network is a vibrant platform that connects graduates of our programs—leaders who have journeyed through the MCA Fellowship, the Visionary Program, and the Elevate Program. It exists to extend the impact of our work beyond the classroom and formal training, ensuring that leadership development becomes a lifelong journey.
At its heart, the Alumni Network is about community and continuity. It provides a space where leaders can remain engaged, exchange ideas, and collaborate on real solutions to the challenges facing our society. Through structured opportunities and organic connections, the network strengthens bonds across cohorts and programs, allowing members to share experiences, resources, and opportunities that advance both their personal leadership and collective influence.
Alumni play a dual role within this ecosystem:
Knowledge Sharers – Some alumni return as facilitators, drawing from their own leadership experiences to enrich new cohorts. By leading sessions, they embody the principle of “leaders raising leaders,” ensuring that the cycle of mentorship and growth continues.
Mentors & Guides – Others take on the role of mentors, journeying with current participants and younger alumni. Through one-on-one conversations and group engagements, they provide wisdom, encouragement, and accountability to other young leaders within the LY community.
The Alumni Network also creates space for cross-sector collaboration. With members drawn from governance, ministry, business, and civic spaces, it becomes a hub of diversity where values-based leadership finds expression in practical impact. This exchange of ideas and practices ensures that Leading Young leaders remain at the forefront of transformation within their communities.
In essence, the Alumni Network is not simply about staying connected; it is about staying committed—to growth, to service, and to shaping a generation of exemplary leaders who live Beyond the Norm.
