Leading Young

Empowering leaders to lead with intentionality,
authenticity and empathy |

Leading Young invites every leader to a ‘safe space’ where they can de- stress, rejuvenate and refresh.

Thematic Areas

Leading Young is at its core an epicenter of Leadership and consequently, Leadership thrives in context. It is through these thematic areas that we engage with leaders by offering related interventions such as programs, events and communities with the end goal of building their leadership capacity as they serve within their contexts.

Our thematic areas underscore our focus and competence areas as an organization and create a unique opportunity for vertical integration and expansion.

Governance

In this thematic area we focus on public sector leadership and more specifically individuals who hold or are likely to take positions influencing reforms, policy and public good. Our flagships programs are: The Members of Parliament (MP) Fellowship and The Members of County Assembly (MCA) Fellowship.

Faith-Based

In this thematic area we focus on leaders of the Christian faith from Pastors to ministry workers. Our flagship program The Visionary Program is a guide to these leaders to lead self and others effectively through Bible-based principles.

Next-Gen

In this thematic area we focus on the youth and teenage-age individuals comprising Gen Z & Gen Alpha. With the growing majority population of young people, our core focus is to create holistic interventions for personal growth and development for this and the next generation.

Business

In this thematic area we focus on c-suite, executives, industry experts, SMEs and MSMEs as we build a community of business leaders and seek to advance holistic interventions to foster innovation and collaboration in the ever changing business environment.

Women

In this thematic area, we focus on Pathways — a comprehensive resource partner for women along their leadership journeys. Pathways will provide a safe and dynamic space for women to share their experiences, navigate challenges, and celebrate successes.

The training and coaching exercise has been life-changing to my leadership. I have learned to identify myself as a young leader which I believe came from God. I have shared a lot with my coach and he has helped me improve my personality, thinking, planning, targets, strategy, handling of finances, vision, focus, and dedication to God and my family. I will walk with my Coach till the end of 2022. It has been a humbling experience in a good way

I am now able to make plans and stick to them. Earlier, I would fail to honor my plans and still feel okay about it. I have discovered the main cause of my procrastination which is setting unmeasurable goals. I have learned to rather work with simple attainable goals than complex goals that put me off from the get-go. I have made a decision and the first steps towards achieving my specific economic and leadership goals.”

It has been a great time of self-realization and a lot has beenachieved as I continue with the training and my coaching sessions. I have gotten clarity for my goals and the path towards achieving them too. I however feel I still want more.

Leading Young has been a very impactful mark in my career as a politician. My highlight was a session that tackled the topic of Family and Politics and the balance between the two
